🎓 Education & Student Empowerment

Since our founding, education has been at the heart of CAHEI’s mission. We believe that students are the cornerstone of global understanding and cooperation.

What We Do:

  • Provide guidance and advising for Chinese students navigating U.S. higher education.
  • Partner with U.S. institutions to create pathways for academic exchange and cooperation.
  • Organize lectures, forums, and mentorship programs designed to help students acclimate to American higher education.

Our Impact:

  • Co-hosted or co-organized education forums at: Harvard University, University of Michigan, Indiana University, and Columbia University Teachers College.
  • Reached over 2,400 students through corporate outreach events with top Chinese companies.
  • Developed a big data algorithm to assist international students in selecting schools, featured in Hartford Courant and NAFSA International Educator.
  • Hosted dozens of lectures and seminars, reaching 7,000+ participants globally.

Looking Forward:
We are currently developing an AI-powered education platform to expand advising access for students worldwide, ensuring that every student—regardless of background—has access to trusted resources and mentorship.


🚀 Innovation & Entrepreneurship

Innovation drives progress, and CAHEI has positioned itself as a connector between American research institutions, entrepreneurs, and Chinese market resources.

What We Do:

  • Organize entrepreneurship competitions that bring together students, researchers, investors, and startups.
  • Facilitate cooperation between incubators, venture capital firms, and academic partners to encourage cross-border innovation.
  • Provide mentorship and one-on-one advisory services for entrepreneurs building solutions with global impact.

Our Impact:

  • Successfully organized multiple entrepreneurship competitions, offering platforms for new ventures to gain visibility, mentorship, and investment opportunities. Organized multiple entrepreneurship competitions, including “Start-up in Shanghai” and the 2017 Zhejiang Jiaxing City First “Red Boat Cup” North America Region.
  • Reviewed 30 U.S. startup projects and attracted ~500 overseas talent projects, landing 60+ projects.
  • Mentored 300+ entrepreneurs, helping secure over $1.1M in government grants.
  • Supported Chinese-American entrepreneurs by connecting them to U.S. research institutions and innovation ecosystems.
  • Helped launch and accelerate cross-border startup initiatives that contribute to both American and Chinese innovation.

Looking Forward:
CAHEI is establishing a bi-national innovation hub to scale entrepreneurial collaboration. This hub will connect startups with mentors, funding sources, and research facilities across the United States and China.


🌍 Cross-Cultural Exchange & Institutional Cooperation

We believe that mutual understanding between cultures and nations is the foundation of long-term collaboration. Through education, dialogue, and cultural programs, CAHEI creates opportunities for meaningful connections.

What We Do:

  • Facilitate forums and dialogues between U.S. and Chinese educators, policymakers, and communities.
  • Support partnerships at the institutional level, strengthening ties between U.S. and Chinese universities.
  • Promote cultural awareness and public engagement within the Chinese-American community.

Our Impact:

  • Organized academic forums and cultural seminars to foster dialogue between American and Chinese experts.
  • Strengthened partnerships with institutions to build enduring models of international cooperation.
  • Earned recognition in prominent media outlets including People’s Daily, Qiao Bao (The China Press), and Hartford Courant, reflecting CAHEI’s role as a trusted convener of international dialogue.

We are building a global alumni and advisor network to connect scholars, entrepreneurs, and community leaders across borders, ensuring that CAHEI remains at the forefront of cross-cultural exchange and cooperation.
